Hello,

I have a custom field setup for JCE File Browser Media so my users can upload an image of themselves to their profile. When they upload the custom field doesn't show a preview of the image - this is not shown in either the create new account page or edit profile page.

Any ideas why this isn't showing?

I'm using J3.10.12 with the latest version of JCE Pro.

Are you referring to the preview image that is shown when you hover over the "eye" icon in the field?

Nope, I mean from the front end.

When I attach a file using the custom field during user registration, I would expect it to show a preview after clicking upload. And when I view my profile in the Edit Profile page, it just shows the image path and doesn't show a preview.

See the attachment from the edit profile page.

I hope that makes sense.

Is the custom media field created as a JCE Media Field, or a standard (Joomla) Media field?

It is a JCE Media Field.

I wonder if this is a template issue. If I switch to prostar it shows me the eye field to hover over. In my default template, I get a different view - see other attachment.

Is there something in the prostar template I need to bring over?

JSN Hub by joomlashine. They have stopped trading and it is a J3 only template, so time to change! I'm a couple of weeks off testing a new template along with a J4 upgrade.

I should have ruled out the template before raising this, so leave this issue for now. Not a major issue for me and will only be temporary. If my new J4 template has issues I'll let you know.
