Hi there,

When using the paste-button for Plain Text for pasting a YouTube URL, the URL is pasted as a html-link. The <a href>-tag is automaticaly added.
The result should be the same when using Ctrl-V directly in the tekst. Then it shows the YouTube video embeded in an iframe.

Using Paste As Plain Text allows the url to be pasted into content as a URL, which might in some instances be required.

Hi Ryan,

I understand, but when pasting a URL with "Paste As Plain Text" I expect the URL to be pasted as plain text, not with a <a href> tag around it.
And then the YouTube url is a special case, because it is wrapped with an iframe. That only works with Ctrl-V, not with the paste-icons.

This is controlled by a separate option in the Link parameters - > Editor Profiles -> Plugin Parameters -> Link
