Hello, I use the Akeeba Engage extension on my website to leave comments. Akeeba Engage does not use a textarea field for the comment, but the editor set in Joomla. For me this is JCE Pro. Now I only need the functionality of a simple text field for the comment field. I don't need any icons, no icon bar, no status bar, etc.

How can I solve this with JCE Pro?

If you want a simple textarea field with no formatting, then JCE can't solve this issue for you, you will need to speak to Akeeba about allowing Engage to set an alternate editor for the extension, such as the Joomla "No Editor" option.
