I'm trying to insert a YouTube video using the Media icon in JCE.

When I click the Media icon in JCE, the dialog comes up but after pasting in the URL to the video and clicking Insert, nothing happens. The dialog doesn't close and it doesn't insert the video.

Any ideas? What might I be missing?

What happens when you paste the URL directly into the editor? It should embed the video into the editor content.

Well, I quite out of the browser, cleared cache (again!) and it seems to be working again.

No idea what was wrong, but seems okay now. Thanks for responding.
