Hi Ryan,
in the new JCE-Versions (since 2.7.10 ?)
the p-tag (and others) are displayed in a greater height, when the editor displays the code. -> see video
That makes the editor-area unnecessary long. Can this be corrected?

!! curious: the behavior of the div-tag is normal.

Ryan
In previous versions, the Visual Blocks layout would style each block with padding and margins, but this would override the margin and padding styles from the template for each tag.

What you are seeing in your example, is the actual paragraph padding from your template being applied, where the div tag is not styled with similar padding and margins.

Hi Ryan,

you may be right. But the paragraph paddings seamed only to work in normal display-mode.
I had never any overwriting-probs in the back times.

Can I change the behavior of the Visual Blocks layout by css ?
Where to do it?

Hi Ryan,

sorry, for the non reaction of your request. I was 3 day away in easter holidays.

I just installed JCE.2.7.12 rc3 and what should I say - the margins have been corrected.:o
Now it is as it was in earlier versions - thanks. 😃

Have you changed something in this content?

I reverted to the previous method of displaying visualblocks, but updated the labels so they are a higher resolution and "retina ready".
