Hi Ryan,

Is this still valid for the latest version of JCE Pro? My links still render when I paste them in the editor even if I remove the clippoard option. I don't want this because I'm using OSembed which auto embeds the links, but they can't be hyperlinked (clickable).

You can disable autolinking of emails and urls in Editor Profiles -> Plugin Parameters -> Link, by setting the Autolink Emails and Autolink URLs options to No.

Hi Ryan, that's what i thought. I have both disabled now, but URL's still auto link when I paste them into the editor. In my screenshot below, I copied/pasted a URL from youtube.

This is because, in Chrome, a link copied from the URL field is made into a hyperlink by the browser, eg: 

<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XC8-Qszcy8M">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XC8-Qszcy8M</a>;
instead of just 

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XC8-Qszcy8M
So now the question is whether that should be unlinked when pasted, which is tricky, as there is no way of knowing whether the user's intention was to paste a full link, or just a url.

Ah, you're right. I see the difference now. Well, I want to force this behavior for all links...and instead...if the user wants a link...than can do it through the URL LINK button in the editor. Make sense?
