I have downloaded and installed the Server Filesystem plugin. Does not seem to be working, it just shows the Joomla .images file system. I have checked and open_base_dir is not active and selected Server Filesystem in the user/group configuration.

I there any other setting that might be causing the problem?

J4: v4.4.0
PHP: v7.4.33
open_base_dir: no value
JCE Pro: v2.9.55
