I bring my Awesome icons in JCE Editor to make JCE more WYSIWYG I just add this call to my local Awesome Font Folders main css at the top of my custom JCE Editor CSS file (editor_content.css) @import "../../../../../media/astroid/assets/vendor/fontawesome/css/all.min.css"; It work perfectly if I use the full i class html of Awesome icons like —>

<i class="fa fa-check"></i>
The problem is when Icons are call by CSS and “content” it doesn't work in the editor but work perfectly on the frontend — The typical CSS (in my custom.scss) is like this:

h6.ok::before {
    color: $orange;
    content: "\f00c" !important;
    font-family: FontAwesome;
    font-size: 140%;
    font-weight: $regular !important;
    padding-right: 10px;
Just display an empty square in the editor.......

This is working for me. Check that this path is correct, and make sure it is at the top of the editor_content.css file:

@import "../../../../../media/astroid/assets/vendor/fontawesome/css/all.min.css";
