I am no longer able to set link target (setting to site relative URLs, haven't tried absolute ones). When I am in the editor and set the link target, say to Open in New Window, it takes. That means I can examine the updated link in the editor and it shows Open in New Window. When I Submit the changes, it reverts to Not Set.

Are you referring to saving the article?

What does the content look like in the Code tab before you do this?

The editor is doing the correct thing. The error is in the controller code that processes the save.

Are you creating the content in the Joomla Article Manager?

If yes, then what options have you set for the Text Filter in the Joomla Global Configuration?
