When I copy & paste text from a Word document that includes a link with a hashtag/pound sign, JCE is removing all of the URL parameters prior to the #. Unfortunately, this isn't always obvious because the URL is linked text and not visible unless I'm looking at the code. I've tinkered with the copy & paste settings but nothing has made a difference so far. I'm including an example below: Code view of original paragraph:

<p>The Ministry of Economy published the <a href="https://www.dof.gob.mx/nota_detalle.php?codigo=5698661&fecha=15/08/2023#gsc.tab=0"><em>Decree by which the Tariff of the Law of General Import and Export Taxes is modified</em></a> last week, which temporarily increases the import tariffs on certain items from August 16, 2023 until July 31, 2025. The list included with the Decree covers 43 tariff lines of the footwear sector and 274 tariff fractions of the textile and clothing sectors. </p>

Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.

Thanks so much! I installed and tested the update and it's working as expected now.
