Hi,

We have updated a website from J3 to J4 and the JCE editor has stopped loading / working within SP Page Builder (ver 3.8.10). The site was using the JCE Core editor, but when we noticed that it was not working as expected, we purchased and installed the latest JCE Pro editor. Unfortunalety, JCE Pro is also not working (it does not appear) on SP Page Builder pages.

For ref:
- In the JCE profile 'All Components' has been selected
- The JCE Editor does appear to work ok on Joomla Articles (on both the Joomla tab and the SP Page Builder tab) - it just does not work on SP Page Builder pages. See pics attached.

We would be very grateful for some help!

Hi Ryan,

The client doesn't want to update to SP Page Builder 5 as they don't like the new interface. 3.8.10 is still available to download - v4 has been removed, I'll revisit this with the client and see if we can update.

Yeah - we have it working on other sites with a similar setup. There is something wrong with this site, but we can't figure out what.

Thanks for looking. I think we have actually solved the problem now. It appears that SP PageBuilder was trying to load both Tinymce and JCE on the same page. This was causing a conflict between the 2 versions of Tinymce (the core version and the one used by JCE). We have made a modification on the sp page builder helper file to fix this. I guess this may cause a problem later, but at least it's working now.
