My site works with volunteers that make articles on the site through the front page. The editor should be as simple as possible, to avoid mistakes.
I would like the editor to show only one tab: content, and hide the other tabs like 'images and links', 'Seo-score', publication and 'metadata'.
Also I would like to set default to 'unpublished'. The volunteers make articles, but they are always checked by the main editor before he publishes them.

I have made a special usergroup for the volunteers and reduced the possibilities where I could. But I cannot find a way to hide those tabs! Is this possible??

Thanks for helping me!!

Those tabs are part of the Joomla Article Manager and are not under the control of JCE Pro.

There does not appear to be any options within the Joomla Article Manager Permissions to hide those tabs.

You could create a template or layout override with a usergroup check for each tab item...

Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean everybody isn't out to get you.

Thanks for your answer! I don't think I can make overrides myself, but I will try and ask somebody to do it!
