I am using mediabow 2.1.7 Still the inline CSS of .wf-mediabox-body.wf-mediabox-transition is set to max-width: 600px. Also when in Image
Manager Extended the dimensions are set to a higher value f.e. 800 the pop-up remains maintained at 600px.
Question: how can I adjust the dimensions to a higher value in the article?

I'm not seeing any issue win my tests. An 800px width image will display at 800px on a 1920 x 1080 screen.

Please post a link to an example popup on your site.
